About these terms

These terms apply to the app Chronicles and this website. Both are run by Leon Grimmeisen, Roibos Labs (see the Impressum). By using them, you accept these terms and the Privacy Policy.

Who can use it

You need to be at least 13, or have the permission of a parent or guardian.

Chronicles Premium

The app is free to download. Chronicles Premium is an optional subscription:

• It renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Apple charges your Apple Account. You see the price and the period before you buy.
• Manage or cancel it in your iPhone’s Settings, under your name › Subscriptions.
• Apple handles refunds. Your statutory right of withdrawal as an EU consumer is not affected.

What the app is for

Chronicles is made for keeping a private journal by talking. Double-check anything important before you rely on it.

Links to other sites

The app and this website may link to other sites. We are not responsible for their content.

Liability

We are fully liable for intent and gross negligence, and for harm to life, body or health. For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaching an essential obligation, and only up to the damage typical and foreseeable for this kind of app. Liability under the Product Liability Act is not affected.

Which law applies

German law applies. If you are a consumer in the EU, you keep the mandatory protections of the country you live in.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead, in the app or on this page.
